6.5.18

ṛtāvanāhāratayā bhayena virūkṣaṇairvegavinigrahaiśca/
saṃstambhanollekhanayonidoṣairgulmaḥ striyaṃ raktabhavo 'abhyupaiti//

During the fertile period, through lack of food, through fear, drying practices, suppression of urges,
excessive astringent treatment, emesis, and disorders of the female reproductive tract, a blood-born abdominal lump attacks a woman.
