For one who has been unctuated, various formulations taught in the Kalpasthāna are to be administered for cleansing waste. / Once waste is removed above and below, refreshing therapy alone should be given in urinary disorders.
From reducing therapy, the patient with urinary disorder might get abdominal lump, consumption, pain in the penis and bladder, and retention of urine; / therefore, after considering his digestive fire, replenishing therapies are to be performed.
For the patient with urinary disorder who is unfit for purification, pacifying treatment is to be employed: / churned drinks, decoctions, barley-powder linctuses, and light edibles are to be used for the pacification of urinary disorder.
