yairhetubhirye prabhavanti mehāsteṣu prameheṣu na te niṣevyāḥ/
hetorasevā vihitā yathaiva jātasya rogasya bhaveccikitsā//
Those etiological factors by which particular urinary disorders arise must not be indulged in in those urinary disorders; / just as non-indulgence in the etiological factor is prescribed, so must be the treatment of the arisen disease.
