6.7.138

te &ca kaṣāye 'aṣṭapale catuṣpalaṃ sarpiṣaśca paktavyam/
yāvatsyādaṣṭapalaṃ śeṣaṃ peyaṃ tataḥ koṣṇam//
&`tatra' iti pā-.
tadvātapittakuṣṭhaṃ vīsarpaṃ vātaśoṇitaṃ prabalam/
jvaradāhagulmavidradhivibhramavisphoṭakān hanti//

And in those eight palas of decoction, four palas of ghee should be cooked, / until eight palas remain; then it should be drunk lukewarm. / It destroys vātapitta-kuṣṭha, erysipelas, severe vātarakta, / fever, burning, gulma, abscess, confusion, and eruptions.
