hastapādāṅgadāheṣu jvare rakte tathordhvage/
vāsāghṛtaṃ śatāvaryā siddhaṃ vā paramaṃ hitam//
In burning of the hands, feet, and limbs, in fever, and likewise in upward internal bleeding,
vāsā-ghee or [ghee] prepared with śatāvarī is exceedingly beneficial.
