srotāṃsi rudhirādīnāṃ vaiṣamyādviṣamaṃ gatāḥ/
ruddhvā rogāya kalpante puṣyanti ca na dhātavaḥ//
Having become abnormal due to the irregularity, they obstruct the channels of blood
and other [tissues], leading to disease, and the dhātus do not receive nourishment.
