sanno raktavibaddhatvāt svaraḥ kṛcchrāt pravartate/
kāsātivegāt &kaṣaṇaḥ pīnasātkaphavātikaḥ//
from obstruction by blood, the voice is depressed and proceeds with difficulty;
from excessive coughing it is hoarse, and from chronic rhinitis it is of phlegm-wind nature.
