&abhisanne śarīre tu yakṣmiṇo viṣamāśanāt/
kaṇṭhātpravartate raktaṃ śleṣmā cotkliṣṭasaṃcitaḥ//
When the body of a yakṣmā patient is congested due to irregular eating,
blood and excited, accumulated phlegm issue forth from the throat.
