saṃyāva iva niryāse madhyo darvīṃ vimuñcati/
śīryamāṇe tu niryāse &vartamāne kharastathā//
When the extract is like saṃyāva [confection] and leaves the ladle, it is medium; / but when the extract crumbles when being rolled, it is hard.
