(śleṣmāṇaṃ vinihanti yuktam aniśaṃ sevyaṃ sadā prāṇinā)
kṛśe sthūle hitaṃ rūkṣaṃ sūkṣmaṃ ścoto (sroto) viśodhanam /
vātāśleṣmaharaṃ putrayā (yuktyā) pītaṃ viṣavad anyathā // 3 //

(It destroys śleṣman; taken properly, it may be consumed constantly by living beings;) / it is wholesome for the lean and the stout, dry, subtle, clears the channels, / and removes vāta and śleṣman when drunk according to rule; otherwise it is like poison. // 3
