gurutva (tad) doṣajananaṃ navaṃ jīrṇam ato 'nyathā /
nātyarthatīkṣṇamṛdvalpasaṃbhāraṃ kaluṣaṃ na ca /
New [wine] produces heaviness and the humours; aged [wine] is the reverse of this. / It should not be excessively sharp or mild, made of few ingredients, or turbid.
