bhūmerādhipatyaṃ prāpnoti | hiraṇyaṃ suvarṇam | rūpyada uttamaṃ rūpaṃ labhate |
Medhātithi’s commentary (manubhāṣya):
He obtains possession of land.
‘Hiraṇya’ is gold.
The giver of silver obtains exquisite beauty.—(230)
