sarvasyāsya tu sargasya guptyarthaṃ sa mahādyutiḥ
mukhabāhūrupajjānāṃ pṛthakkarmāṇy akalpayat //

But in order to protect this universe He, the most resplendent one, assigned separate (duties and) occupations to those who sprang from his mouth, arms, thighs, and feet.
