sa tv apsu taṃ ghaṭaṃ prāsya praviśya bhavanaṃ svakam
sarvāṇi jñātikāryāṇi yathāpūrvaṃ samācaret //
But when he has performed his penance, they shall bathe with him in a holy pool and throw down a new pot, filled with water.
