svabhāva eṣa nārīṇāṃ narāṇām iha dūṣaṇam
ato 'rthān na pramādyanti pramadāsu vipaścitaḥ //

It is the nature of women to seduce men in this (world); for that reason the wise are never unguarded in (the company of) females.
