ṛjavas te tu sarve syur avraṇāḥ saumyadarśanāḥ
anudvegakarā nṝṇāṃ satvaco 'nagnidūṣitāḥ //

Let all the staves be straight, without a blemish, handsome to look at, not likely to terrify men, with their bark perfect, unhurt by fire.
