vedatrayān niraduhad bhūr bhuvaḥ svar itīti ca //

Pragapati (the lord of creatures) milked out (as it were) from the three Vedas the sounds A, U, and M, and (the Vyahritis) Bhuh, Bhuvah, Svah.
