nimantrito dvijaḥ pitrye niyatātmā bhavet sadā
na ca chandāṃsy adhīyīta yasya śrāddhaṃ ca tad bhavet //

A Brahmana who has been invited to a (rite) in honour of the manes shall always control himself and not recite the Veda, and he who performs the Sraddha (must act in the same manner).
