yena yena tu bhāvena yad yad dānaṃ prayacchati
tat tat tenaiva bhāvena prāpnoti pratipūjitaḥ //

For whatever purpose (a man) bestows any gift, for that same purpose he receives (in his next birth) with due honour its (reward).
