yo 'rcitaṃ pratigṛhṇāti dadāty arcitam eva vā
tāv ubhau gacchataḥ svargaṃ narakaṃ tu viparyaye //

Both he who respectfully receives (a gift), and he who respectfully bestows it, go to heaven; in the contrary case (they both fall) into hell.
