nāmutra hi sahāyārthaṃ pitā mātā ca tiṣṭhataḥ
na putradāraṃ na jñātir dharmas tiṣṭhati kevalaḥ //

For in the next world neither father, nor mother, nor wife, nor sons, nor relations stay to be his companions; spiritual merit alone remains (with him).
