yat kiṃ cit snehasaṃyuktaṃ bhakṣyaṃ bhojyam agarhitam
tat paryuṣitam apy ādyaṃ haviḥśeṣaṃ ca yad bhavet //

All lawful hard or soft food may be eaten, though stale, (after having been) mixed with fatty (substances), and so may the remains of sacrificial viands.
