daśāhaṃ śāvam āśaucaṃ sapiṇḍeṣu vidhīyate
arvāk saṃcayanād asthnāṃ tryaham ekāham eva vā //
It is ordained (that) among Sapindas the impurity on account of a death (shall last) ten days, (or) until the bones have been collected, (or) three days or one day only.
