bhartrā saha pramītāyāṃ mṛte 'hany apare 'hni vā | āśaucaṃ maraṇāt syād dahanāt tayor na tu

When [a wife] dies along with her husband, on the same day or the following day, / impurity (āśauca) for both of them begins from death, and not from cremation.

When a wife dies with her husband, on the day of his death or the next, impurity counts from the death, not from the cremation of the two.
