dampatī śuśunā sārddhaṃ sūtake daśame'hani
kṣauraṃ kuryāttataḥ pūtādānabhojanayogyatā
The couple, together with the infant, on the tenth day of birth impurity, / should perform tonsure; then, purified, they have eligibility for gifts and dining.
