havismatyā snāpayitvā tvanyavastramalaṅkṛtām
yuñjānāmāhutiṃ kṛtvā tataḥ karma pravarttate

Having bathed her with the [verse] *haviṣmatī* and adorned her with another garment, / and having made an oblation with the *yuñjānā* [mantra], the rite then proceeds.
