samāliṅgetstriyaṃ vāpi dīptāṃ kṛtvāyasā kṛtām
evaṃ śuddhiḥ kṛtā steye sāmvarttavacanaṃ yathā
Or he may embrace a glowing [effigy of a] woman made of iron; / thus purification is achieved for theft, according to the word of Saṃvarta.
