rajodarśanato yāḥ syū rātrayaḥ ṣoḍaśarttavaḥ
tataḥ puṃbījamākliṣṭaṃ śuddhe kṣetre prarohati
The sixteen nights from the appearance of the menses are the fertile period. / Then the male seed, unimpaired, grows in the clean field.
