samārghan tu samuddhṛtya mahārghaṃ yah prayacchati /
sa vai vārdhuṣiko nāma brahmavādiṣu garhitaḥ //
He who, having bought at an ordinary price, sells at an exorbitant price, / he is indeed named a usurer, censured among the knowers of the Veda.
