Vaiṣṇava Dharmaśāstra 22.35

jananāśaucamadhye yady aparaṃ jananāśaucaṃ syāt , tadā pūrvāśaucavyapagame śuddhiḥ ||
If, while the impurity, caused by a birth lasts, another impurity caused by childbirth intervenes, it ends when the former impurity terminates.
