sarve tasyādṛtā dharmā yasyaite traya ādṛtāḥ
anādṛtyās tu yasyaite sarvās tasyāphalāḥ kriyāḥ //
He pays regard to all his duties, who pays regard to those three; he who shows no regard to them, derives no benefit from any religious observance.
