agninā dahyamānāś ca tudyamānāś ca kaṇṭakaiḥ
krakacaiḥ pāṭyamānāś ca pīḍyamānāś ca tṛṣṇayā //

They are scorched by blazing fire, pierced by thorns, divided into parts by saws, and tormented by thirst.
