yad yat parebhyas tv ādadyāt puruṣas tu niraṅkuśaḥ
tena tena vihīnaḥ syād yatra yatrābhijāyate //
Whatever a man takes from others, unchecked (by the dictates of religion), of that will he be bereft in every future birth.
