annam iṣṭaṃ ca dadyād akrodhano 'tvaraḥ |
ā tṛptes tu pavitrāṇi japtvā pūrvajapaṃ tathā ||
And without anger and unhurried, he should give whatever food is desired, / Until [their] satisfaction, reciting purifying texts, and likewise the recitation mentioned before.
