yad ucyate dvijātīnāṃ śūdrād dāropasaṃgrahaḥ |
naitan mama mataṃ yasmāt tatrāyaṃ jāyate svayam ||
As for what is said regarding the taking of a wife from among Shudras by twice-born men, / this is not my opinion, because he himself is born in her. [1.56]
