agnihīnasya nānnam adyād anāpadi (YDh 1.160) ity atra śūdrasyābhojyānnatvam uktam | tatra pratiprasavam āha |
Having stated that a Shudra is one whose food is uneatable by the verse, 'One should not eat the food of one destitute of sacred fire, except in times of distress' (1.160), he now states an exception:
