ātmanas tyāgināṃ nāsti patitānāṃ tathā kriyā |
teṣām api tathā gaṅgātoye saṃsthāpanaṃ hitam ||
"For suicides, as also for the fallen, there are no funeral rites;
yet for them as well, deposition in the water of the Ganges is beneficial;"
