viṣṇūktāṃ saṃvidaṃ kṛtvā daityaiḥ kṣīrābdhimāgatāḥ
tato mathitumārabdhā yataḥ pucchaṃ tataḥ surāḥ
Having made the agreement spoken by Viṣṇu, they came to the Milk Ocean with the Daityas.
Then they began to churn, the gods being at the tail.
