viṣṇūktāṃ saṃvidaṃ kṛtvā daityaiḥ kṣīrābdhimāgatāḥ /
tato mathitumārabdhāḥ yataḥ pucchantataḥ surāḥ //
Having made the agreement spoken by Viṣṇu, they came to the Milk Ocean with the Daityas.
Then they began to churn, the gods being at the tail.
