agninoktaṃ purāṇam yad āgneyaṃ brahmasammitam(4) /
bhuktimuktipradaṃ divyaṃ(5) paṭhatāṃ śṛṇvatāṃ nṛṇām //
The Purāṇa spoken by Agni, which is the Āgneya, commensurate with brahman,
bestows worldly enjoyment and liberation, divine, upon men who read and listen [to it].
