rusistavādividhinā(7) adhitiṣṭhasva māṃ śiva /
evaṃ vijñāpya deveśaṃ śāntihomaṃ samācaret //
preside over me, O Śiva, according to the prescribed rite of praise and reverence.’
Having thus addressed the Lord of gods, he should perform the pacification fire oblation
