madhvājyakṣīradūrvābhirmūlenāṣṭādhikaṃ śataṃ /
tato liṅgaṃ ca saṃsthāpya pūjayet sthiṇḍile(8) tathā //
with honey, clarified butter, milk, and dūrvā grass, using the root-mantra one hundred and eight times.
Then, having positioned the liṅga, he should worship it likewise on the bare mound.
