śatena sthāpanaṃ kuryāt sahasreṇa tu cālanaṃ(2) /
pūjādibhiś ca saṃyuktaṃ jīrṇādyamapi susthitaṃ(3) //
One may perform installation with a hundred [mantras/oblations], but removal requires a thousand.
Accompanied by worship and the rest, even an aged [liṅga] is well-placed.
