andhādayastu(4) tāṃ sevya devair gacchanti tulyatāṃ(5) /
gaṅgātīrthasamudbhūtamṛddhārī so 'ghahārkavat(6) //
Even the blind and the like, by serving her, attain equality with the gods. / One who bears the mud arising from the sacred ford of the Gaṅgā destroys sins like the Sun.
