tathā viṣṇupade śrāddhapiṇḍado hy ṛṇamuktikṛt(3) /
pitrādīnāṃ śatakulaṃ svātmānaṃ(4) tārayennaraḥ //
Likewise, offering an ancestral rite and funeral cakes at the footstep of Viṣṇu, he is freed from debts; / a man rescues a hundred families of ancestors and others, and himself.
