upaveśayettrīn pitryādīnekaikamubhayatra vā /
evaṃ mātāmahādeś ca śākair api ca kārayet //
He should seat three for the ancestors and others, or one in each of the two [rites]; / he should also do likewise for maternal grandfathers and others, even with [mere] vegetables.
