sarvasya jagataḥ pālau gopālau tau babhūvatuḥ /
kṛṣṇaścolūkhale baddho dāmnā vyagrayaśodayā //
The protectors of the entire universe, those two became cowherds. / And Kṛṣṇa was bound to a mortar with a rope by the agitated Yaśodā.
