agnir uvāca
jyotiḥśāstraṃ pravakṣyāmi śubhāśubhavivekadaṃ /
cāturlakṣasya sāraṃ yat taj jñātvā sarvavidbhavet //
Agni said: / I shall expound astral science, which discerns good and evil, / which is the essence of four hundred thousand [verses], by knowing which one becomes omniscient.
