agnir uvāca
jyotiḥśāstrādisārañca vakṣye yuddhajayārṇave /
vinā mantroṣadhādyañca yathyomāmīśvaro 'bravīt(1) //
The Essence of the Science of Astral Lore in the Ocean of Victory in War / Agni said: / I shall state the essence of the science of astral lore and other [teachings] in the Ocean of Victory in War, / without mantras, medicinal herbs, and so forth, just as Īśvara told Umā.
