īśvara uvāca
mūladeveccayā jātā śaktiḥ pañcādaśākṣarā /
carācaraṃ tato jātaṃ yāmārādhyākhilārthavit(3) //
Īśvara said: / By the will of the Primal Deity, the fifteen-syllabled Śakti was born; / from her was born the moving and unmoving world. Having worshipped her, one knows all things.
